Michelle+Tony | Sunrise Engagement | North Shore, MA
Michelle and Tony are friends of mine, which made it easier to ask them to get up at 4:30am in order to catch the sunrise. And HOLY CRAP, I may be asking a lot more of my couples to do this because the light is sooo magical, and everything is quiet and peaceful. We drove up to the North Shore, just north of Boston, so we could watch the sun come up over the ocean. It was still a little on the chilly side, but Michelle + Tony were such good sports, and clambered barefoot over these freezing cold rocks for a whole hour.
Michelle and Tony knew each other for awhile before dating, as they both went to the same church (which is how I know them too!), but there was no interest between them until Tony joined the worship team and showed off his guitar skills. Michelle, who was also on the worship team, started noticing this guy more - and after a nudge from a mutual friend, Tony asked her out. Four months later, at the top of a roller coaster at Six Flags, Tony, jacked up on nerves and adrenaline screamed out, “I LOVE YOU!” After recovering from shock and holding on for dear life as the ride tossed them in the air, Michelle said it back. And the rest is history.
In March, Tony tricked Michelle into ‘modeling’ for a photoshoot, where he had constructed a hot air balloon to propose to her in. This was her childhood dream, but she had no idea what was happening until Tony got down on one knee an hour into the shoot. I am SOOO excited for their wedding at the end of the summer - these two are some of the most thoughtful, talented, and loving people I know, and I can’t wait to celebrate their new life together <3
