oh hey there

Let's be friends.

my biggest values:

connection, real moments, adventure

Hey there, I’m Abigail.  I'm a photographer currently living in a Boston suburb, but the woods and sea are what I like best. Most days you can find me running around outside with my three children, editing in my home office, or singing the Spidey theme song with all of my might (because as I’ve said, I have three children).

People often refer to me as passionate, driven, and joyful. I love getting things done, but I am also learning to slow down and savor the days that I’m in, which are incredibly precious. Life is too short not take time to invest in the people you love. And it’s definitely too short not to eat ice cream. Ice cream is my weakness.

Five things you should know about me:

  • I have a huge heart for freeing  those trapped in human trafficking. 10% of my photography proceeds go towards organizations that do this.

  • I used to be a very fearful person, but knowing Jesus has freed me from that. I now love the unknown, and seek adventure over comfort.

  • My love language is dishes. Nothing makes my heart smile like a clean counter. My husband jokes about this, but it’s actually true.

  • I shop at consignment shops and clearance racks, but have no problem buying a plane ticket anywhere. I would so much rather spend money on experiences than anything else, and I’ve never regretted a trip!

  • I love heights. The higher the better. I went skydiving for my 21st birthday, and it’s still one of the best life experiences to date.

Family is incredibly important to me. I have been shaped, loved, refined, and nurtured by the people I’ve lived with. First through my family of origin, then through marriage, and now I am growing in new ways as a mom to three incredible, tiny humans. THIS is what I love capturing for other people. The dynamics and the love shared by family, both given and chosen.

Love is not easy. Marriage is not easy. But it can be incredibly fruitful if we stay the course and allow ourselves to become more selfless, more compassionate, and more grounded.

For me, that grounding comes from viewing myself through the lens of how God sees me. I am first and foremost HIS. From there I can work as a wife and mom, or as a photographer, with a lot more joy and freedom. Because I have so deeply experienced this kind of Love, I want to share it with everyone I get to work with. I hope is that everyone who steps in front of my camera will also feel how deeply they are loved. And when they see the photos, my prayer is that my clients see themselves how God sees them. Fully known, and fully loved.
